Defendant below, Tara Enterprises, Inc., was charged in the Lancaster County court with multiple violations of the Nebraska obscenity statutes, section 28-926.11 et seq., R.R.S.1943, and after a jury trial in that court was found guilty on 22 counts of exhibiting obscene materials under the above statutes. Defendant was sentenced to pay a fine of $200 for each of the 22 counts, or a total of $4,400 in fines. The case was appealed to the Lancaster...
