Petitioner Charles Terry has filed this habeas corpus action pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 2254 and 2255 seeking relief from an Illinois conviction for rape, robbery, and aggravated kidnapping. Terry challenges his conviction on three grounds: 1) that he is not guilty of the crime of rape because the State did not prove he had intercourse with the prosecutrix: 2) that his trial counsel was incompetent...
