Today we write another chapter in the odyssey of the Evans High School Explosion. This remarkably protracted litigation originated a decade ago on October 23, 1970, when the original plaintiffs, John Wallace and H. F. McMullen,1 were severely injured in a gas explosion which rocked the school. After a lengthy trial on the merits, judgment was rendered in favor of plaintiffs and against several of the defendants.
