Oliver Boldt was held in state mental hospitals for almost thirteen years because he was adjudged incompetent to stand trial on a criminal charge. While Boldt was incarcerated, the state collected his social security disability benefits in the amount of $13,661.65. Boldt, who was released in 1974, is now attempting to recover that money from the state. He is also asking for his actual attorney's fees incurred in recovering the money and for the actual interest...
