PER CURIAM.

The plaintiff's sole claim on appeal is that the court below, Kulawiz, J., erred in permitting the defendants to amend their answer by adding a special defense of contributory negligence.

The plaintiff alleged that he was injured on April 7, 1975, when he was struck by a backhoe owned and operated by the defendants. This suit was filed on June 22, 1976, and the pleadings were closed when the defendants denied negligence on March 3, 1977...
