Virginia Turpin appeals from a verdict of guilty of negligent homicide. She was driving on the wrong side of the highway when her car struck head on a car driven by Gabriel Cardenas, who died from the impact. Sergeant Brackins of the Washington State Patrol arrived on the scene, extricated the injured Mrs. Turpin from her car, and helped place her in an ambulance which took her to the hospital.
