Plaintiff Richard Warrick brought this medical malpractice action in Hennepin County District Court against Dr. James House, orthopedic surgeon at the University of Minnesota Hospitals; Dr. Nuntiya Hungspreugs, the resident anesthesiologist; and her supervisor, Dr. Luis Giron. Plaintiff alleged that the surgical and medical techniques employed by defendants during an operation on his hand were improper in light of plaintiff's pre-existing medical problems...
