After a jury trial in April of 1977, both appellants were convicted of carrying a pistol without a license, D.C.Code 1973, § 22-3204, and receiving stolen property, D.C. Code 1973, § 22-2205. On the firearms convictions, appellant Haley was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of eight to twenty-six years and appellant Tucker was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of six to twenty years.
