A Judge whose conduct off the Bench demonstrates a blatant lack not only of judgment but also of judicial temperment, and complete disregard of the appearances of impropriety inherent in his conduct, should be removed from office, notwithstanding that his reputation for honesty, integrity and judicial demeanor in the legal community has been excellent.
