This is an appeal from the Circuit Court of Tazewell County dismissing the plaintiffs' complaint with prejudice. For the reasons stated hereafter, we reverse and remand.

Each of the plaintiffs in this case was a member of the Teamsters and Chauffeurs' local union No. 627, and was employed by the sanitation department of the defendant city of Pekin pursuant to an oral contract...
