Defendant, Arthur J. Packard, following an adverse ruling on his motion to suppress evidence, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, La.R.S. 40:966. He reserved his right to appeal pursuant to State v. Crosby, 338 So.2d 584 (La.1976). The trial court sentenced the defendant to serve one year at the Department of Corrections.
