Plaintiffs filed this suit against the Orleans Parish School Board seeking declaratory and injunctive relief from the Board's alleged non-compliance with some of the provisions of R.S. 42:4.1 through 42:9 (the "Open Meeting Law") during the Board's proceedings to select a superintendent of the Orleans public schools.
