In this appeal, a trial was had to a jury on the plaintiff's petition praying for judgment against the defendant for the value of certain corn which the plaintiff alleged was delivered to the defendant and not paid for. The jury deliberated for 6 hours and returned a 10-2 verdict in favor of the defendant.
