This is a suit for past due rent on the sublease of farm land. Plaintiffs, Lennie Wiley and nine of her descendants, sued defendant, Bobby Frank Wiley, alleging Lennie Wiley entered into a six-year sublease agreement with defendant, and that he has failed to pay the full amount of rent. Defendant answered, alleging the agreement was intended to be an assignment of the lease, not a sublease, and that he has complied with all of his obligations under...
