This consolidated lawsuit arose out of an automobile accident which occurred in 1969. On March 25, 1976, a jury verdict was returned in favor of plaintiffs Joan and Loretta E. Hoffman and Charles J. Mentel against the defendants and in favor of the defendants against Rosemary Mentel, the driver of the car in which the other three plaintiffs were passengers.
