These consolidated antitrust cases were brought by respondent cattle feeders against petitioner meat packers under the Washington Consumer Protection Act. The meat packers filed counterclaims, alleging that the cattle feeders had conspired in restraint of trade and engaged in unfair trade practices in violation of the Consumer Protection Act.
