Plaintiffs, John G. Ames and Shirlie I. Ames, filed suit against defendant Crown Life Insurance Company of Toronto, Canada (hereinafter Crown Life), for compensatory damages occasioned by defendant's failure to pay certain claims under a group insurance policy. Defendant moved to dismiss the two-count second amended complaint, as it was filed beyond the contractual period of limitations...
