Defendant Billy Leon Thomas was convicted, after a jury trial, of four counts of armed robbery.1 Two of the armed robberies involved pharmacists who were leaving their respective pharmacies after closing and locking the doors. The third armed robbery was at a Clark's service station, and the fourth armed robbery was of a Snap-On Tools salesman. Thomas complains that he was denied the right to confront his alleged accomplice...
