This case concerns the termination of a tenured teacher's contract of employment for cause under General Statutes § 10-151 (b). The plaintiff, Elinor Lee, who had been employed by the defendant board of education of the city of Bristol (hereinafter the board) for over four years and, hence, had acquired tenure under General Statutes § 10-151 (b), was discharged by the board on August 30, 1974.
