We are again called upon to determine the limits of an insurer's liability under an uninsured motorist endorsement of a single multi-vehicle policy of automobile liability insurance, a question we believed to have been settled by Allstate Insurance Company v. Morgan, 59 Haw. 44, 575 P.2d 477 (1978) and American Insurance Company v. Takahashi, 59 Haw. 59, 575 P.2d 881
