This is an action for alleged defamation of plaintiffs by defendant labor union and one of its officers. Plaintiffs are Eugene police officers who were called to the scene of a strike.1 The trial judge sustained defendants' demurrers to each of the three separate causes of action set forth in plaintiffs' third amended complaint.
