The present diversity action, which was removed to federal court, arose out of a fire insurer's refusal to pay for a fire loss. The plaintiff corporation (Vicksburg) was the owner of a furniture factory that was destroyed by fire on July 15, 1977. Vicksburg appeals from a final judgment dismissing its suit to recover for the loss from its fire insurer (Aetna). The dismissal was based on a general jury verdict in favor of the defendant insurer...
