Appellant John D. Miller was convicted on April 30, 1980, of two counts of violating 26 U.S.C. § 7203. A jury found that Miller had willfully failed to file income tax returns for the years 1976 and 1977, and he was sentenced to six-month prison terms on each count, to run concurrently.
