Defendant-appellant Donald Lock was charged in Allen Circuit Court with first degree (felony) murder, Ind. Code § 35-13-4-1 (Burns 1975), and second degree murder, § 35-1-54-1. These charges arose out of the rape and stabbing death of Nena Wallis in Fort Wayne on February 20, 1974.
