On February 6, 1978 the plaintiff entered into an oral contract for sale to the defendant of 5,000 bushels of Arkansas Certified Bragg soybean seed at $13.50 per bushel. This oral agreement was confirmed by a written memorandum dated February 15, 1978. (Exhibit "1" to defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment.)
