ROBERTS, Justice.

Following a jury trial in Superior Court, Cumberland County, Howard Curry was convicted of criminal nonsupport, in violation of 17-A M.R.S.A. § 552, and was sentenced to six months in the county jail. On appeal the defendant challenges the sufficiency of the evidence to support the conviction, the court's jury instructions, and the court's refusal to give defendant's proposed instructions. We reject his suggested interpretation of section 552...
