Richard M. Primeaux, d/b/a/ Acadian Engineering Company, brought this suit against Merk Gaspard to collect the balance of $18,300.00 due under a construction contract, pursuant to which he delivered and erected a prefabricated metal building on defendant's property. Defendant answered and filed a reconventional demand, seeking a reduction of the price because of defects in the building, attorney's fees, and damages caused by plaintiff's failure to satisfactorily...
