Appellant and his wife, Diane Williams, were indicted by the Grand Jury of Lake County for conspiracy to commit murder, a class A felony, Ind. Code § 35-41-5-2 (Burns 1979). Both were convicted in a trial by jury, and appellant received a sentence of twenty-five years. On appeal he raises two issues:
