PER CURIAM.

In this case, appellant was tried by jury for theft in the first degree. Appellant moved for a judgment of acquittal at the close of the prosecution's case and again after the verdict was returned against him. The principal question argued is whether there is substantial evidence of each essential element of the indictment to support the verdict. State v. Cannon, 56 Haw. 161, 532 P.2d 391 (1975).
