Defendant is charged in separate informations with two counts of receiving stolen things in violation of La.R.S. 14:69. The authorities seized the items allegedly involved, a diamond ring and a quantity of the drug butisol, from defendant's residence under authority of a search warrant executed on March 7, 1979.
