On August 22, 1979, the Appellant Bethel Park Federation of Teachers, Local 1607, American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO (Union), struck in the Bethel Park School District (School District). After 27 instructional days had been lost in the 1979-80 school year, appellee School District, on October 2, filed a complaint in equity in the Allegheny County Common Pleas Court seeking a preliminary injunction against the Union...
