OPINION

THOMPSON, Justice.

A single engine Bellanca aircraft, owned by Martin, was damaged when it crashed while being piloted by Ross who had borrowed the plane. Alleging ordinary negligence, Martin commenced this action against Ross to recover damages for the loss thus sustained.
