PLANNING RESEARCH COMPANY v. SHY

No. QQ-299.

379 So.2d 1047 (1980)

PLANNING RESEARCH COMPANY and Hartford Insurance Group, Appellants, v. Jesse E. SHY, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

February 20, 1980.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Richard H. Weisberg, of Cooper & Rissman, P.A., Orlando, for appellants.

Frank Henry Molica, P.A., Merritt Island, for appellee.

PER CURIAM.

AFFIRMED.

This is a case of first impression which squarely poses the issue of whether, under appropriate circumstances, treatment at a pain clinic constitutes remedial treatment pursuant to § 440.13(1), Florida Statutes. We hold that it does. Cf. Goldsmith v. Buena Vista Construction Co., 304 So.2d 110 (Fla. 1974).
