Defendant Donnie L. Collins was convicted after a jury trial of the crimes of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action, in the armed robbery of one Payton Adams, III, at the Shannon Oil Company service station in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 23, 1978. He was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment on each count to be served concurrently.
