Appellant was convicted by a jury on two counts of a four-count indictment, namely: Count 2 — Conspiracy involving the interstate transportation of stolen property; and Count 3 — Interstate transportation of stolen property, aiding and abetting.1 His motion for acquittal notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, for a new trial was denied.2 He was sentenced to five years...
