On May 22, 1979, the defendant pleaded guilty to indictments charging him with the malicious burning of a dwelling house, G.L.c. 266, § 1, larceny in a building, G.L.c. 266, §§ 16, 20, and breaking and entering in the nighttime with the intent to commit a felony, G.L.c. 266, § 16.
