DORIS, Justice.

This is an appeal from a Superior Court judgment of conviction in which a jury found Francisco Antonio Bello (defendant) guilty of manslaughter. The defendant claims that the trial justice employed an improper legal standard at the pretrial hearing in assessing the voluntariness of his confession. He further claims that the trial justice used this legal standard when instructing the jury on how it was to determine the issue of voluntariness...
