On December 1, 1978, defendant Bennie Ray Cain was charged by bill of information with two counts of distribution of cocaine. On February 4, 1979 he was indicted by a grand jury for the crime of distribution of heroin. On May 14, 1979, defendant pled guilty to possession of heroin and one count of distribution of cocaine.
