After 40 years of marriage the parties were divorced on March 6, 1978, following a trial in Lenawee County Circuit Court. The parties entered into a written property settlement on February 15, 1978, which provided that plaintiff was to pay monthly alimony to the defendant in the amount of $1,575. In addition, plaintiff was required to pay the defendant's "reasonable necessary hospital, medical, dental, psychological, psychiatric or counselling bills...
