The claimant in this workers' compensation case is the widow of a deceased worker. At the time of his death in October, 1977, the worker was receiving permanent total disability benefits pursuant to ORS 656.313 while his employer's appeal from a referee's decision that he was permanently and totally disabled was pending before the Workers' Compensation Board.
