This is an executive officer negligence action based upon a natural gas blowout and fire which occurred during the drilling of a gas well on October 26, 1973 in Red River Parish. The cause of action arose prior to the enactment of Act 147 of 1976 amending LSA-R.S. 23:1032, which now precludes such actions.
