Robert Lee Rawls appeals from the dismissal of his petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (1976), alleging that 1) he was denied effective assistance of counsel; 2) his plea of nolo contendere to the rape charge was not voluntary; and 3) he was denied a full and fair state appellate process.
