The defendants, Paul J. Gazerro and Scott T. Badessa, were indicted on March 19, 1976, for the murder of Robert M. Demirjian, in violation of G.L. 1956 (1969 Reenactment) § 11-23-1, and for conspiracy to murder, in violation of G.L. 1956 (1969 Reenactment) § 11-1-1.
