Defendant was convicted of operating a motor vehicle westbound in the 1700 block of Kaneville Road, Geneva, Illinois, on February 20, 1978, at a speed of 46 miles per hour in a posted 30-miles-per-hour zone in violation of a Geneva municipal ordinance.
