This action grows out of the arrest and conviction of the plaintiff, Jose Roberto Bolanos, a citizen of Guatemala, for the misappropriation of money and property of Gulf Petroleum (Gulfpet) and Petroleos Gulf de Guatemala (Petgulf). Plaintiff, who had been the Assistant General Manager of Petgulf, a Guatemalan corporation, and Martinez Aparicio, the former General Manager of Petgulf, were tried for 1) Diverting $416...
