This appeal is brought by Ford Motor Credit Corporation ("Ford") and Hilltop Lincoln Mercury ("Hilltop") from a decision in the District Court1 in favor of the plaintiff, Thaddeus Murphy ("Murphy"), on an allegation of a violation of the Consumer Credit Protection Act. This Act is known as the "Truth In Lending Act" (TILA), and is found at 15 U.S.C. §§ 1601, et seq. TILA has been translated into regulations...
