This suit arose out of a verbal agreement to sell immovable property located in St. Landry Parish. Plaintiff Tazie Manuel filed suit against defendant Rena Pitre for breach of the verbal agreement. Plaintiff sought specific performance of the agreement and in the alternative damages and a refund of monies paid.
