CAMPBELL, Judge.

The state appeals the trial court's order which granted, on grounds of an illegal stop, appellee's motion to suppress certain tangible evidence. We reverse.

The only witness at the suppression hearing was the deputy sheriff who stopped appellee. He testified that as he was travelling south on 34th Street (U.S. 19) in St. Petersburg at 11:30 P.M., on his way back to headquarters to go off duty, he spotted appellee on the east side of the street...
