The Court has consolidated, for purposes of argument and decision, these three habeas corpus proceedings brought by three juveniles, each of whom challenges the constitutional validity of his or her commitment to the Department of Correction upon the ground that each was denied the benefit of legal counsel in the commitment proceedings in juvenile court.
