THIS CASE is before me following removal from the District Court of Baca County, Colorado pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1478(a). Prior to removal, a two week jury trial on a complaint for damages arising out of an oil well drilling contract between the parties resulted in a verdict against the Defendants in the amount of $469,034.82.
